Space station


Space stations are man-made structure designed for humans to live in outer space. A Space Station flight distinguished from other manned space because of the absence of major propulsion or landing facilities; however, other vehicles used as a vehicle to and from this station. Space stations are designed to live in medium-term orbit, for periods of weekly, monthly, or even years.

Space station is also used to study the long-term effects of space flight on the human body and also to provide a platform for higher numbers and length of scientific research that has been available on other space vehicles. Since the flight-bad luck Soyuz 11 to Salyut 1, the duration of manned space flight has been printed on a space station. 437.7 days duration record held by Valeri Polyakov on Mir from 1994 to 1995. In 2003, 3 astronauts have completed a mission with more than a year, all on the Mir.
