SOLA COOKER

Solar oven or solar cooker is a cooking device that uses sunlight as an energy source. Because this type of stove does not use conventional fuels and low-cost operations, humanitarian organizations to promote their use worldwide to reduce deforestation and desertification, caused by the use of wood as fuel for cooking.

Solar cookers can be used outside the home, especially in situations where minimal fuel consumption or fire risk becomes an important consideration.
Working principle

There are different types of solar cooker. Everything uses heat and light from the sun to cook food. Some basic principles of solar cooker is as follows:

1. The concentration of sunlight. Some device, usually a mirror or some sort of metal / metal that reflect light, are used to concentrate the sun light and heat toward a small cooking area, making the energy more concentrated and more likely to produce enough heat to cook.
2. Changing the light into heat. The interior of the solar cooker and pans, of any material which is black origin, can increase the effectiveness of the conversion of light into heat. Black pan will absorb almost all the sunlight and convert it into heat, substantially improving the effectiveness of the solar cooker. The better the ability to heat the pot, the faster the stove and oven work.
3. Trap the heat. Efforts to isolate the air inside the stove from the outside air will be important. After the light is absorbed and turned into heat, bags made from plastic or glass cover will trap the heat in it like a greenhouse effect. Heating of a good strategy to use solar energy to be less effective if only using one of the above-mentioned principles. In general, solar cooker uses at least two ways, or even third basic principle of solar cooker to produce a sufficient temperature to cook.
