AAC AND WAV


AAC stands for Advanced Audio Coding is a standard compressed audio file format. AAC generally have the sound quality better than the popular MP3 format in the same nitrate, especially at the lower nitrate of 100 kbit / s. AAC is the format commonly used when making an audio CD compression on the Apple iPod and iTunes (eksensi. M4a). This format is a standard part of the Motion Picture Experts Group (MPEG). Sample rate offered up to 96 KHz or twice a MP3 that only 44 KHz.

WAV is the abbreviation of the term in English waveform audio format is a standard audio file format developed by Microsoft and IBM. WAV is a variant of the RIFF bitstream format and similar to the IFF and the AIFF format used by Amiga and Macintosh computers. Both WAV and AIFF compatible with Windows and Macintosh. Although able to accommodate WAV audio files in compressed form, usually WAV format is not compressed audio.
