Hybrid

The word hybrid in the Indonesian language was first used as a term for the hybrid (hybridization or crossbreeding) between two individuals with different genotypes. Hybrid in this sense has a field of meanings that overlap with mongrel, or in everyday language is called blaster.

In agriculture, which is a type of hybrid varieties of cultivars in the form of direct descent from the cross between two or more populations of glorification. Glorification population can be used freely bersari varieties (both synthetic and composite) or strain / line.

Hybrid varieties are made to take advantage of the emergence of a good combination of elders used.
