Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology involves the development of technology in the nanometer scale, usually 0.1 to 100 nm (one nanometer is a thousandth of a micrometer, or millionths of a millimeter). This term is sometimes applied to very small technology. This article discusses nanotechnology, nano science, and molecular nanotechnology "conjecture".

The term nanotechnology is sometimes equated with molecular nanotechnology (also known as "MNT"), a high form of nanotechnology conjecture is believed by some to be achieved in the near future, based on the productive nanosistem. Molecular nanotechnology will produce the right structure to use for production mechanosynthesis molecules. Molecular nanotechnology, although it was not there, promoted by its supporters will have a major impact in the community when it happens. The debate now whether molecular nanotechnology will be developed can be seen in the weblog Richard Jones and other sites mentioned there.
Nanotechnology is a highly multidisciplinary field, ranging from applied physics, materials science, colloid and interface science, physics tools, Supra molecular chemistry (which refers to the field of chemistry that focuses on intermolecular interactions nonequivalent ties), self-duplicating machines and robotics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biological engineering, and electrical engineering.
