USING LIGHT FISHING

Catch fish, are hunting activities like catching a tiger, wild boar or wild animals in the forest other. Because of its hunting, fishing makes contains high uncertainty. To reduce the uncertainty of the fish catch, fishermen have long used means "light" as a fishing tool.

Before light electrical technology is growing rapidly as now, the fishermen in various parts of the world use the torch light as a fishing tool. At first the use of light as a fishing tool is limited to the traditional fishery located on the beach alone, such as beach seine fishery, stock, and several other chart fishing equipment. However, with the development of traditional fisheries activities into the industry, the use of light as a widespread tool to help catch fish in the purse seine fishery, chart, stick held deep nets, and others.

The use of electric light in the fishing activity was first developed in Japan around the year 1900, then later evolved into the various parts of the world. Indonesia itself, the use of light as a fishing tool is not known with certainty. Allegedly, fishing with the light tool developed from the eastern waters of Indonesia and spread to the western part of Indonesia.
