Ceramic technology

Ceramic technology in general is a technology that uses a ceramic material as a basis for engineering. Several universities in Indonesia began to teach ceramic technology as the eyes of his own lectures, such as the University of Gadjah Mada. While further development, these technologies tend to be merged together into polymer materials technology, composites and glass. Several other technology areas to benefit from these ceramic technologies, such as chemical engineering (for reactor materials), mechanical engineering (to the knowledge of material strength), electrical engineering (for the piezoelectric and the use of magnets). Furthermore, this knowledge has grown so wide to enter the field of crystal and polymer science and fiberglass.
